St Merryn , 1 Mile away – The Cornish Arms (Rick Stein’s) Great Pub, great food but better to book for dinner as gets very busy.  (Not Expensive)  The Farmers Arms – Does a Carvery at Week-ends  (Reasonable Pub). Post Office,  Fish and Chip Shop, Spa Shop, Esso Garage, Doctors Surgery and others.   The City of Truro and its wonderful Cathedral and major shops is about 40 minutes drive. The Historic Fishing Town of Padstow is about 4 miles away featuring the famous Seafood Restaurant owned by "Rick Stein" and many more terrific eateries. The Eden Project is about 20 minutes drive to the South Coast near St Austell. And not forgetting the Beaches - Seven Bays for Seven days is the local saying.  That's right seven terrific beaches all within  a few miles from St Merryn Holiday Village.  During the summer months all of these beaches are patrolled by the RNLI Lifeguards which has got to be a plus.   What more could you ask for when selecting a holiday location.  Sadly we cannot promise that the sun will shine but we can always hope.    We hope you have a terrific holiday staying in Sandy Lodge and hope that all is to your liking.
